Can you afford to “walk the walk” in THESE?

A few of you who know me, know very dearly about my shoe obsession. Most chicks love shoes, yes. But, I LOVE shoes. My motto is that good shoes are like good friends – you can never have too many. And I have many many many of them. Some of my best friends are Sam Edelman, Pelle Moda & G. Zanotti. And since the lovely summer is upon us, that means it’s time to recruit…. Out comes the platform sandals, the sculpted wedges, the 5 inch needles and the gladiator studded thongs..High-end summer collections right now are just wicked! I love ‘em all and can’t wait to indugle in some pairs.. But you shoe fanatics like me are also paying attention to what’s about to drop on the market come September. Many top designers have already released their Fall 2010 women’s collections and some of it’s already available for pre-order. Trust me, these are dreamy. You’ve never seen ish like this chicas… Dudes, I got you too..

For the ladies:

1. Proenza Schouler made my hair stand on end with their Summer 2010 collection.. Yummmyyyyyy.

2. Fall 2010. Christian Louboutin is just the KING of shoe opulence right now. Jaw crack.

3. Fall 2010. Christian Siriano is probably the most successful winner of Project Runway..

4. Fall 2010 Brian Atwood. I want him. I mean his shoes. Every it-chick in Hollywood rocked a pair of his nude pumps this past winter.  The jeweled pump is $$ 9491.56. The (Spring 2010) studded pump was worn by SJP in SITC2.

5. Fall 2010 Alexander McQueen.  I mean, LOOK at this detail!! RIP to a true fashion icon.

6. Summer 2010 Valentino… So beautiful but seems too delicate to want to walk in.

7. Summer 2010 Jeffrey Campbell’s line is just ammmmazzzzing AND very affordable!!! Tribal stuff/black and white is very IN this season.

8. Fall 2010 Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte. This is my dream designer. I am gonna cop sumin he does before I die. Summer 2010 pieces on the right/below – green & blue/pink ($1242.) joints. POW!

9.  Summer 2010 Versace.

10.  Summer 2010 TopShop Unique. Launched in 2001, Topshop Unique is the higher-up ready-to-wear offshoot from the major British fast-fashion label – Top Shop.

11. Summer 2010  Basso & Brooke. The Brazilian-British duo launched in 2004 and are based in Italy.

12. Summer 2010 Givenchy. There’s that tribal print again.. Right now Zara has a similar offering for $190.

13. Summer 2010 Gianfranco Ferre. This white shoe is just fire!

14. Summer 2010 Viktor & Rolf. They make some uber dope clothing too. I’ve seen their stuff in Century 21..

For the Fellas:

1. Summer& Fall 2010. Christian Louboutin has finally started a men’s line this year and he’s giving us lots of bling, zebra and spikes..

2. Summer 2010 Gucci. “So fresh and so clean clean..” lol

3. Summer 2010 Lanvin’s.. I’ve always loooooved his kicks for men. This summer, he’s got more patterns and the designs scream street. I really dig the ruched velvet stripe detail on the back of the high tops… a subtle addition that refreshes his classic designs.

4. Summer 2010 YSL’s. They always got some dope stuff for the fly dudes. All these are available at Saks.

5. Summer 2010 Louis Vuitton. Real bad man ting here. lol

6. Summer 2010 Supra!! I love their bright colors, use of varied materials, and clean minimalistic lines on their kicks.

7. Summer 2010. Tod’s New Gommini moccasins. Tod’s makes great moccasins for dudes in allll colors – orange, purple, red, green etc. Barneys & Neiman Marcus got a lot of his stuff. In general, drivers are a must for fly dudes.

8. Paul Smith Summer 2010 fun sneaks. These are both available on Zappos.com for CHEAP! ($204 & $127)

9. Summer 2010 Salvatorre Ferragamo drivers… droooolllll.  Neiman Marcus carries all these. The drivers below are each $440. I know, the images are hella big but there was no other way I could save ‘em. They are SO worth the zoom in though!

11. These silver D&G’s are on sale right now at Zappos for $283!!!!!! These black patents are also sooo sleek.

12. Marc Jacobs always got really simple yet funky kicks. Again, these can be found on couturezappos.com.

13. Ok, if you never heard of Cesare Paciotti people, then you better ASK somebody! This man’s shoes are what would be worn if there was a SITC – tha male version. I mean, come on, jelly drivers! WOW!  

14. And last, but NOT least, yummy yummy DSQUARED2 and their Summer 2010 collection…..
